Warren Jackson
Born in Indianapolis, Ren was molded in the deserts of Arizona, ran the gauntlet on the stages of Chicago, then emerged in the thriving theater and teaching artist community in New York. This Midwest kid was soon welcomed as a company member with the site-specific theater company, Brave New World Rep out Brooklyn for a few years.
In addition to his regional theater work, which includes companies from Maine down to the beaches of Sarasota, he spent ample time in New York charter and public schools, as a teaching artist. Being a former competitive athlete, much of his style in his artistic work is committed to helping to create a physical narrative that supplements and highlights the text.
